Staffhouse International Resoures
CSR

Integrity, professionalism and excellence drive corporate purpose at Staffhouse and are reflected in all they do – the company spirit is ultimately expressed in joining worthy social causes like helping build yellow boats of hope to ferry the children of Zamboanga fishing communities to school. But it begins in the heart of Staffhouse, in policies like not collecting any placement or processing fees (even if the practice is legal in the Philippines), being transparent in the recruitment process, and in ensuring the wellbeing of clients, candidates, and employees alike.

These and other ideals bind the business success to the larger socialcontext it operates in: by connecting people with jobs, Staffhouse provides opportunities for individuals to support and enrich not only themselves but their families and communities as well. Recruitment catchment areas located in the remote parts of the Philippines brings international job opportunities to qualified countryside candidates, while special initiatives like scholarships help uplift the standards of its manpower pool. These in turn motivate the staff to share the fruits of their success in outreach programs for the urban poor, donations for school materials and educational trips for children in community public schools.

By reaching out, Staffhouse helps develop greater social awareness and ultimately more inclusive working environments for the long term, replenishing the talent pool of the nation.

Back-to-School Program at Lupang Pangako Elementary School in Payatas, Quezon City

Education, aside from being one of the factors we consider in profiling our recruits, is one of the undeniably ignored rights in the country. A few years back, Staffhouse decided to focus its CSR efforts into Education. It was a struggle to choose where to begin so we started with a yearly back to school day program where staff volunteers share a day with a partner school and school bags with supplies are given to at least 100 students.

On our second year, we decided to extend our involvement with one of our partner communities, Lupang Pangako Elementary School – Payatas. Geared towards cultivating a familial atmosphere between Staffhouse employees and 30 selected primary school students, a quarterly activity is plotted in our calendar.

It is with hope to be with this set of students as they grow and move to the next grade level and so on…
